Accessibility Statement
Our commitment
We want this site to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification or reduced-motion settings.
The standard we aim for
We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA as our working target. That covers colour contrast, keyboard operability, visible focus, meaningful alternative text, form labelling, semantic structure and respecting reduced-motion preferences.
What we have done
- A skip-to-content link on every page.
- Keyboard operation for navigation, the mobile drawer, accordions, tabs and modal dialogs, with Escape closing overlays and focus returned where it came from.
- Visible focus indicators throughout.
- Alternative text on product images. Where that text was generated without a person viewing the image, it describes the product and its position in the gallery rather than claiming to describe the photograph's content — we would rather be accurate than specific.
- Semantic headings with a single H1 per page.
- Touch targets sized for use on a phone.
- Support for
prefers-reduced-motion.
Known limitations
We would rather list these than claim they do not exist.
- Image alt text needs a human pass. The current text is accurate but generic. Someone who can see the photographs should review and improve it.
- Third-party content. Embedded apps, payment frames and any review widget are outside our direct control and may not meet the same standard.
- Product specification tables are supplied by the manufacturer and vary in structure between models.
Tell us if something does not work
If you hit a barrier on this site, please tell us — describe the page, what you were trying to do, and what assistive technology you were using if relevant. We will fix it and tell you when we have.
