EzyPedal sells ENGWE electric bikes and scooters into Europe. That is the whole of what we do, and we would rather do it properly than broadly.
What we actually think about e-bikes
The electric bike market has a truth problem. Range figures are quoted as though they were promises. Power figures are quoted in whatever unit flatters the product. Machines that cannot legally be ridden on a European road are sold with photographs of people riding them on European roads.
We have taken a different line, and you can check it on any page of this site:
- Every range figure is attributed and qualified. We say it is the manufacturer's maximum at the lowest assistance level, and we tell you to expect roughly half in real use — because that is what happens.
- Road legality is stated per country, not glossed. Our electric scooters are legal for road use in France and not in Germany or the Netherlands. We say so on every scooter page rather than leaving you to discover it.
- High-power machines are quarantined. ENGWE's 1000 W and 1200 W bikes sit in a separate, clearly labelled category because they are not EU road-legal pedelecs.
- Where we do not know, we say we do not know. A handful of products in our catalogue have incomplete specifications from ENGWE. Those pages say exactly that, and invite you to ask, rather than filling the gap with plausible-sounding numbers.
Why ENGWE
ENGWE builds a genuinely broad range — a 15.6 kg carbon commuter and a 200 kg-rated cargo longtail come from the same company — and the EU-specification models are properly homologated, with several carrying TÜV certification to EN 15194. That combination of breadth and certification is unusual at this price.
We are a retailer, not the manufacturer. ENGWE designs and builds the bikes; we stock them, explain them, and stand behind the sale.

- Fitment. Send a photo of your battery label or your frame and we will confirm the right part before anything ships.
- Legality. If you are unsure whether something can be ridden where you live, ask before you order.
